   THE visiting Indonesian team Lakidende, reinforced by Filipino, Canadian and Australian imports, took the solo lead in the men’s division in the ongoing Summer Grandslam National Softball Open Championships, inside the Clark Freeport Zone after posting back-to-back victories for a 4-0 slate.

   The Amateur Softball Association of the Philippines (ASAPHIL) opens the yearly Summer Grand Slam to interested teams. It will be held on May 1-7, 2013 in Clark Field, Pampanga.    The Amateur Softball Association of the Philippines (ASAPHIL) will hold a free softball coaching seminar at the Philippine Sports Commission of Feb. 8, 11 and 12 with Maurice Paraha, an International Softball Federation certified coach conducting the seminar as part of ASAPHIL president Jean Henri Lhuillier’s program for softball development here.
